This will give you background lights that make a lot of difference in the final look.
Easiest way to put fairy lights on a christmas tree.
You want to make sure they are lit when you are adding the lights to your tree.
First put on the bottom layer of branches.
Plug the first strand of lights into an electrical outlet.
Turn on the lights.
Begin at the bottom of the tree making sure you have left enough slack for the plug on the strand to reach an extension cord or electrical outlet.
The video only shows adding lights to one section of the tree make sure you add it to all three sections of the tree.
If your tree is really wide divide it into fifths or even sixths.
Favorite answer try pushing strands of the lights to the inner part of the tree first.
Begin at the bottom of the tree close to the trunk.
Just imagine zig zagging the lights.
Then put on the next layer of branches and add the lights using the same technique i used on the first layer of branches.
Slip the loop over one of the branchlets or greens near the trunk and wrap the cord a few times around the green to secure it.
The easy way that i put lights on those trees i am going to cover here.
You can see how this is done in the video below.
If your branches are attached just fold down the branches layer by layer.
Coil the first set of christmas lights loosely around your hands.
Do not wrap the lights around the tree.
Allowing some slack or leader cord in the first strand of lights separate the cord near the first bulb so it forms a loop.
Step 1 depending on how wide full your tree is artificial or real divide it into fourths quadrants.
Avoid dragging the strings across the floor.
Then wrap each branch going up and down the branch with the lights.
Instead of wrapping the lights around and round your tree and dangling them on branches to try and make it even we should go in a different direction completely.
Think front two sides and back.
Then go back and place.
Plug each strand of lights into an electrical outlet to confirm they are working.
